I do have to say, though, that I'm quite irritated with people who complain about how the only viable choice is between Democrats and Republicans. While, yes, I believe this to be true when it comes to the higher offices, it is your responsibility to make yourself an informed voter. If you aren't happy with Democrats and Republicans, work to build up a third party from the bottom up.
As partisan as people think I am, I did not vote a straight party ticket. I looked into the third party candidates and voted for a couple of them. I'm not saying anyone has to do that, but if you're going to complain about the two major parties, then, please, at least look into the other candidates for the lower offices. If you don't do that, then don't complain to me. That's all I'm saying.
I'm getting ready to take Bekah back to the airport. Aaron's gone back and forth on whether or not he'll actually make it over this weekend. Just when I think he will, he calls to say he probably won't. Then I think he won't and he calls to say he might. Last I spoke to him, he said he'd give me a call around 7:00pm and let me know if he and Tahasti are coming at all and, if so, if it'll be late tonight or early tomorrow morning.
Seems like there was something else I wanted to say, but I can't think of it. Eh.
