So now I'm just waiting on the appraisal and flood certification. And I need to get home insurance, too. Looks like things are moving along nicely. Also, I looked at my budget and I think I'll have a little more money left over than I thought I would. Well, I thought I'd have nothing left, so anything is more than I thought I'd have! But it's nice to know I'll have a little something to work with so maybe I don't have to depend on my sister to help me out for everything beyond the down payment. I've started a shopping list. And I keep forgetting that Bekah has furniture that will need to go somewhere anyway, so we're going to set it up at my place. Might as well, right? So here's my to-do/shopping list:
Things to get done immediately:
To purchase immediately:
To purchase sooner than later, if possible:
To purchase when I get a chance:
I noticed that there is already a push mower in the shed out back. I'm not sure if the current owners realize it's there, because I know they pay someone else to come out with a riding mower and cut the grass for them once a week. I don't want to bring it to their attention, but if they happen to leave it, I may see how long I can last cutting almost an acre of grass with the push mower!
I wonder how fast Home Depot or Lowe's could deliver a riding mower? You think they could get one there by the time I'm halfway done? ;-)
So there's the update. Gotta get back to work!
